![]() Welcome to the Butler County Engineer's Office Tax Map Webmap Information Page.
The Butler County Ohio Engineer's Office Tax Map Division is responsible for providing a set of
current maps to assist the County Auditor in preparing taxes. Ohio law mandates that the County
Engineer create and organize the tax maps within his/her community. The County Auditor's office
uses these detailed tax maps as its official record for property tax purposes. The Tax Map office
is using GIS technology to update and maintain the county's parcel information as well as centerline
mileage, addresses, and infrastructure maintained by the Engineer's Office. The interactive Tax Map
Webmap was created for the use of the Butler County Auditor’s Office in the appraisal of real estate
process. This map is provided as a convenience to the Butler County residents and the suitability of
this map for any other use is not guaranteed. This map should never be relied upon to establish with
certainty the location of property lines or the location of any other feature in relation to a property
line. To establish a property line or the relationship of a feature to a property line you must engage
the services of a Professional Surveyor registered to practice in the State of Ohio. Each parcel on the
map is based upon a recorded legal description of the parcel. While it is impossible to state the spatial
accuracy of lines on the map, the Butler County Tax Map Office does strive to ensure that the shapes
of the parcel represents it correctly and the correct parcel numbers are associated with each shape.
